About the Poet:
Lauraine Saretsky was born and raised in Muenster, a small town in central Saskatchewan, where nature shadowed and inspired her. Lauraine now lives in Edmonton, Alberta, where she works as a medical transcriptionist, an environment which provides space for inspiration. She is also a trained reflexologist, a healing art of touch and listening that also opens avenues for writing. Poetic expression has become for her an invitation to touch scars that allow her to hear and feel the Spirit's lead.
About the Book:
At the core of Lauraine's poetry is the beating heart of the divine, the movement toward being present to the moment, to being in tune with the earth, and becoming finely connected with the seasons in their poweerful dynamic touch.
Reviews:
"Reading Lauraine’s poetry brings stillness and peace. It brings quiet time in a noisy busy world. Nature becomes animated and seems brought to life. Her poetry shows how, as the seasons of nature change, as well is affected our life’s seasons."
