I Love You
Though miles between keep us apart,
And days go by when we don’t talk,
It does not mean we love the less
Or would not rather care to walk
Together down Life’s winding way
And often hear each other say,
“I love you!”
Three little words that mean so much
To lift one when he feels alone;
To know another loves and cares
Helps lift the load when day is done.
So, as we travel down Life’s way
O, let me not neglect to say,
“I love you!”
