About this Christian Poet:
I am a stay-at-home mom from Renton, Washington. I have two children. My hobbies include photography, writing, art, and gardening. This poem was inspired by a close-up photograph that I took on the beach at Whidbey Island, Washington. The tide had arranged the stones and sand in such a way that it resembled a path. I believe that there is a path we follow, once we're leaving Penuel.

Leaving Penuel

There's the beach house,
exactly as I left it for you.
These stones aren't random;
they were just placed here accidentally
by someone who forgot about them.
Long ago you told me
I would keep this place inside
tucked away so I could walk around in you forever.
