I am a homemaker and an art teacher, but I also love writing. I'm currently completing my third book, although I have never published any poetry. I enjoy painting, knitting, and traveling with my husband.
The Relationship
Those months of infatuation
are over.
Our honeymoon is in pictures
boxed away somewhere.
It's been rocky:
anger, a separation or two.
My vows have not been
as sacred as yours.
But now I'm back
to adore you,
lovely God,
to love you
as I never did before.
Here are my alabaster boxes.
Let me grow old in your arms.
